York wondered if Wash made smoothies for everyone, but thinking about it, he'd never seen anyone come and go from the man's house. But maybe he just didn't want guests over while York was out working in the back? Or maybe Wash just didn't see people often, in which case he could totally use some TLC, and who better - and more willing - to give it to him than York? On those thoughts, he'd also never been left alone before. Wash was always around when York was, and the latter was pretty sure he was trusted enough to remain at the guy's house alone for a bit, but still Wash never left. So, maybe luck was turning in York's favor, and the man was single? Taking a look around the place, there were no photographs of him with anyone who was close enough to suggest a romantic relationship, so maybe York really should just throw caution to the wind and go for it. What did he have to lose? --Other than his job, and moments like this in Wash's kitchen, enjoying smoothies with him.
Drinking down the rest of what was in his glass, York made a plan of action. Slipping around Wash he set his glass in the sink, and on his way back to where he'd been standing before he stopped just in front of the other man, more closer than was necessary. Though, there still was some distance between them, but if York was lucky he'd get to close that soon enough. Thoughts like that had energy thrumming through him, making him want to lean closer and have his way with Wash, but the situation was delicate and he'd have to take slow steps. Even though slow steps were all he'd been taking since starting work for the guy.
"Thanks for the smoothie, Wash." He gave a crooked smile. "Really hit the spot." Oh, he could think of one of Wash's 'spots' he'd like to be hitting.
