[Yeah, it soon becomes clear to Wash that York's moved off somewhere. He doesn't stop moving though, because he knows York has to be somewhere, and if he stops then he's just an easy target made even easier. He doesn't try to keep his movements as quiet as before. Now that he can't really move his upper body much, it's just more of a hassle to work on keeping his footing light.
At one point, he spots a sign of movement out of the corner of his eye. He pauses and turns his head, only to spot York disappearing behind another pillar across the training floor. Determined, he turns and starts heading over that way, moving in a straight line in order to gain some speed. His speed is already hindered by the paint, weaving between the pillars isn't about to help. It takes a minute, but finally he's close enough to York that he fires a couple shots; one is aimed for a shoulder, the other at York's leg.]
